Specialized Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy Serving Maryland, DC & Virginia

Dr. Uju O, DPT (she/her), is a licensed Physical Therapist and owner of Solace PT & Pelvic Wellness. Her primary foundation for treatment is deeply holistic — addressing the body as an interconnected system rather than isolating symptoms. She begins by regulating the nervous system to create safety within the body, allowing space for true homeostasis. From there, pelvic floor dysfunction can be treated with greater ease, efficiency, and lasting results. This whole-body, root-cause approach sets the tone for every session. With nearly a decade of advanced training in pelvic health, chronic pain management, and integrative care across the lifespan, Dr. Uju blends clinical excellence with deep compassion.
As a mom to an infant and someone who has walked her own fertility and healing journey, Dr. Uju brings personal insight, empathy, and lived experience into every session. Clients often describe her as warm, intuitive, and empowering — someone who truly sees, hears, and supports them.

| 3. One of the only practices in the area offering dry needling for pelvic floor-specific care. | Dry needling services are less commonly integrated into pelvic floor care. |
| 4. We have experience treating all genders including cis-gendered women, men, and the transgender population. | Limiting pelvic care to cisgender women only. |
| 5. We offer a hybrid care model with options of in-person or 1:1 guided Telehealth sessions. | Restricting your progress to in-clinic availability alone. |
| 6. We blend pelvic rehab with 1:1 Pilates-based strengthening and yoga based mobility; paired with specialized hands on techniques. | Delegating your care to an aide with a list of exercises for you. |
| 7.We take a whole-body approach to pelvic floor care. | Focus solely on isolated pelvic muscles without addressing posture, breathing, core coordination, and movement patterns driving your symptoms. |

"Dr. Uju is gentle and patient. After several years of not being able to engage my core after a C section I am now able to do deep core work. The work she does in office and the exercises she gives at home are very helpful. I'm glad my PCP referred her and I would highly recommend!" -C.
